Nigel's Slovakia trip - page 3 (Banská Bystrica)

I arrived at Banská Bystrica bus station, and made my way over to the train station, where I bought a train ticket for the next day, then caught a bus to the hotel.

This is the Hotel Dixon, which also has a variety of sports/leisure facilities.

You can see why the tennis courts were unavailable..

I didn't see as much of BB as I might have, because although I had printed several sections of street map, there was a gap between them, so I wasn't quite sure where I was. I saw the hotel Lux from a distance, and headed towards it, then had to re-cover the stretch between the bus and train stations.
From the train to Košice..
